Fingerprints

Fingerprints.  They are pretty much everywhere.  Currently in the stage of life I’m in they are mostly all over my walls.  Lots on the windows in our vehicles or on the glass sliding door that leads to the backyard.  Even more brilliant is the fact I have a glass kitchen table so I spend many times a day wiping them off with glass cleaner after each meal or art project. As much as I try and wipe them away, they keep showing up and are weaving together the story of my life, my family, our adoption, our ministry and journey.

My favorite ones are God’s fingerprints.  Many times I don’t even know they are there but when I get a chance to look back on life I see them all around and all over me it gives me an overwhelming peace and makes me thankful that I’m not the one in control. They bring much peace especially in times when I wonder what in the world He is up to through trials and great joy.

And so you found me.  Fingerprints on my walls is my story as it unfolds daily in the life I’ve been given.  I’m a very ordinary person.  I am a mother of three, wife to a husband in ministry who travels, speaks and writes.  And I have heart passions for adoption, children in our world in need, art, sports, tennis, and friendships near and far.

I’m thankful for the blogging community I have found who inspire me and challenge me in my journey.  Thanks for stopping by and sharing part of my story.  I hope to be able to share and be inspired and challenged by yours.
